2 wks post op and tender port area with plum size lump. HELP!!!!

HI, I AM 2WKS POST OP AND HAVE LUMP IN PORT AREA. STILL VERY TENDER TO THE TOUCH. CAN'T BEND ALL THE WAY DOWN OR RIDE STATIONARY BIKE DUE TO PAIN. IS THE PLUM SIZED KNOT THE PORT OR SOMETHING I SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT? NO REDNESS ,NOT WARM TO THE TOUCH. LOOKS LIKE ITS HEALING FAIRLY WELL.:embaressed_smile:

Have you already had your first post-op appointment? If so, what did doctor say about this lump? If not, please call the doctor and tell him that you've got a plum-sized lump. I hope that you're healing well.

Yes i have had my first post op visit. Didnt have the lump then or just didnt notice it. I did call yesterday about the tenderness and was told i could come in tues if i still had the port pain. So im going. I will let you know. Thanks for caring.

have you been overeating? i don't have much restriction yet but when i overeat, my port sticks out and looks like a lump, and gets sore and painful. get it checked out, but it is probably nothing serious.
