Bariceutical & Metamucil

Did anyone use these things before. They're both prescriptions and its made just for bariatric patients. Im having my surgery done on Oct 3rd with Dr. Verboonen & Dr. Jaime Ponce De Leon in mexico. I was told to take these products. Any help?? Please and thank u.

Metamucil isn't a prescription drug...it's a fiber supplement, not unlike benefiber (but it's way more gross). Never heard of the other thing.
