Hi from Beautiful Villa Park, Illinois

I was banded on 8/18/08. All for the swelling has gone now and I feel as though I could eat just as I did before the banding. Has anyone else experienced this and does the feeling go away? I am following all of the rules and eating only what I was told to eat and how much, but I find myself hungry more often. Will this go away with a fill? Any answers would settle me down a little.

Thanks.

Yes... it goes away. You may want to nose around this site a little. Yours is a common post topic. Until you have restriction (fills) the band is wide open. So, logically, it's as if you never had anything done. It will take several fills, most likely, until you DO have restriction! Until then, just relax, practice chewing small bites really well, and heal!
