I live in Dallas/Fort Worth and am 25 years old - I was starting to think I am the only under 35 Lapband patient!! I am dying to meet new friends who I can share and talk to. I am single, and most of my friends are in relationships. Since no one completely understands my surgery and situation it would be great to meet some younger bandsters...most of the ladies in my support group are 40+ and/or married with kids. Anyway, would love to hear from anyone in their 20's who's been banded!

Hi! I am 27 and was banded 6 months ago. I didn't lose for the first 2-3 months until I got restriction, but now I am seeing great progress. I live in R ockwall :thumbup: Congratulations to all of us for our success!

Hey my name is Angie, Im 23 and was banded on August 20th, I almost consider it my second birthday. I was 299 when I got the surgery, and I am currently 225. I feel amazingly wonderful. I am down 74lbs and loving it. It is lonely tho, no one understands what I am going thru and I am so glad to have found this website.

I got banded December 18th and I live in the DFW area too! Texas is the best state afterall. haha
