Well on youtube it shows an interview with her when she first found out she was in the running for VP and she stated she didn't even know what a VP does!! Also, she is for doing away with abortion even in cases of rape and incest! That to me is awful!

OMG JWRN you'll fall for anything. Just curious what is your intention with posting this? Do you actually believe it? Do you think this adds substance to this discussion? Posting something as silly as this just knocks your credibility down a few notches.

Do I believe it. No .I heard about it on talk radio and there has been investigations about it. Just like bill maher saying that palins baby is really her daughters.you can't believe everything out there even if it is recordings of the candidates. More than likely it was taken out of context. Choose a candidate on their merits and what they have done and how they have changed things instead of the media and hollywoods view.

Agreed...go down your youtube search 6 or 7 posts and you get a whole other spin.

I'm actually a Bill Maher fan (I know your're shocked ) and I watch his HBO show (2 shows so far this season) I don't recall him saying anything to that extent unless it was total sarcastic humor. I enjoy watching him b/c I share his political views but also he is actually well informed, isn't afraid to call BS on his own party, and he's funny. Granted I realize watching his show would be about as painful for someone on the right as watching Rush would be for me but I think he is a hoot.

......okay bring on the Maher smear:laugh:

Do you know when this interview was held? Just curious. (It wasn't 2 weeks ago, BTW.)

I couldn't listen past 20 seconds. I could tell it was ludicrous.

Years ago I was a Maher fan....but when his conservative guests started making more sense to me than he did, I realized my own outlook was changing.

Years ago Maher hid his bias better.

(America, the land of the free and home of the brave and the country that our taxes built.)

Our taxes didn't build this country. Hard work with some great natural resources and personal freedom built this country.

new bumper sticker i saw today in Fort Worth, TX:

Vote "Mama" (w/palins pic)

No "Bama" (w/obamas pic)

had to chuckle - don't agree on the politics however.

brandy - that was hillarious

I couldn't open it, but if it's similar to (or the same as) the jibjab "It's Time for Some Campaignin'" video that was out a while back, it is indeed hilarious. I loved Obama riding on a unicorn singing about change.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
