'bama bandiversary bash/baby shower!!

Good question, Haydee. I'll wait to see what everyone's schedule looks like first, for sure. I don't want to be waiting in the airport for 3 hours.

I'll make a google spreadsheet like we did before and everyone can plug in their proposed flights. Most likely the airline schedules will change between now and then so it's risky to book now in that regard...but probably not that big of a deal. It's tempting because fares are looking cheap....can't imagine them going much lower than $300!

Heck it scares me to book, with all the bankrupt airlines!!! Seriously though, almost all of us had our stuff changed between booking and flying last time, so I imagine it will again.

I have not looked into it, I know they are on the news all the time about the new luggage charges, and charging for Snacks and drinks, and everything imaginable. But I can live without their 7/up and peanuts!!! Or the muffin they gave us last time!!! It actually ended up in a bag left in the fridge in the bathroom in the Judges Chambers in Gruene!!! LOL

I figure I will likely book around the first of the year. They are blaming the high ticket prices on fuel charges, and they are going up, even though the cost of fuel is actually going down---so who the heck knows??!!

I will likely do the same, of flying in on Thursday and out on Monday. From Albuquerque, to Huntsville. How exciting!!!

Terry--will get you a check for the deposit sent off Monday. Don't want you to get hit with extra interest or anything on your card.

Well......as I said in the main thread, hay beckons....fun, fun, fun!

Kat

Uhmmm terry! If anyone gets to the airport 'early', I can come pick ya'll up. I'm literally a 3 minute drive from it. Can hang out at my house while we wait.

Now I lay me down to sleep

I pray the lord my soul to keep

Guide me through the stary night,

Wake me when the sun shines bright,

To see the count that Judy made,

and the spreadsheet Terry made.

Amen!

YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!!!!!

Well, my flight is going to depend on what time i can leave which is going to be around what happens with Dylans moving up thing for school, which depends on snow days used. If i can leave at 6am i can get a flight for $210 Northwest on Travelocity and around $400-500 if I have to leave later... so... worst case i'm planning on $500 which is ok as long as i am ready for that.

have a good day

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
