Is eating difficult for any of you?

I had surgery a week ago and my doc said that today i could start on soft foods. I tries a couple bites of runny oatmeal and I feel sick but still really hungry. Is this normal? Will this go away?

Yes, it is quite normal, take it slow and it will get easier. LOL, enjoy this while you can...if you are like most people, you will probably be here in a week or two upset because you feel no restriction and you are eating too much!
