How long after I eat can I get a fill?

If I ate at 12:30 and Im scheduled for a fill at 2, will that be okay?

Good to know. they had to cancel my fill due to some emergency surgery they needed to do, so it's rescheduled for Friday.

I will make sure I eat 5 hrs prior to the fill.

Thanks for the answers!

I was never told a time frame to not eat before a fill...hmmmm. I will ask for sure. *As personal choice I never eat the day of a fill, before or after, but I would like to know what the doc has to say about that.

My doc's nurse said nothing after midnight. But my doc says I can drink up to two hours before,he assured me nothing would be in the pouch in that time frame.
