My parents are now on the path to RNY instead of the band. I want them to be able to talk to people who have had it done. I know about Obesity Help, but was hoping there was a less hostile site to which I could direct them.

There isn't much activity yet as the forum just opened.

i received my call yesterday that i was approved! yippy:] and today i went on my diet lean chicken and only green veggies or lean ground beef wow!and cant forget the protein shakes. what else can i eat? i have surgery on 9-24-08 a little scared and excited all at the same time. what else can i do to get ready for the surgery?

A gentler version of OH is Living After WLS (Living After Weight Loss Surgery) They have sub-boards for all the surgery type but it is heavily RnY dominated.
