Experience - Too tight of a fill

I have an AP 10 cc band. I went in for a fill on Wednesday. I had been at 5.5 cc and was asked all the regular questions, are you staying full, any reflux or vomiting. etc...No, no, no... The decision was to add another .5 cc. Sounds like nothing correct? at least it did to me. My fill was at 3:00, I able to drink water in the office. I went back to work after. I had a big glass of water at work. Immediately it came back up. Weird but I thought I just drank it too fast. Feeling great again. About 30 minutes later I start getting a fullness and pain in my chest, 15 minutes later I am throwing up, slime and water. I think its odd but figured it was a response to the previous issue with the water. I feel fine again. same senerio, 30 minutes later the fullness and pain the bam. Throwing up again. I realize I can even keep down my own saliva. All of this from getting a fill of.5cc??? I get home at 5:00 a couple of vomiting episodes later, I realize I have to do something and call the Dr.around 7:00, who is great, and he meets me back at the office for an adjustment. He removes .25cc and I feel immediate relief. Its still a bit tight when I get home. I am sure from all the vomiting but by 10:00 I feel fine and the vomiting has stopped. All is better now but I will say I never want to go through that again. My words of wisdom? If it feels too tight or just not right... CALL THE DR!

I see you are from Indiana? I am as well. I had my surgery in Fishers last year by Dr. McEwen.

I did not realize Dr. Ray was in Bloomington until after I had already made my appointments.

How are you doing with your band? Are you adjusting ok?

So far so good, I will take a 35 lb loss in 5 months... looking forward to the next 35 to go... I am always ready for it to be more but I'd rather lose it slow and steady.
