(Thanks to Obesity Law.com) my surgery date is July 23 @ Holzer Weight Loss Center Gallipolis Ohio.I'm really excited and nervous at the same time.:smile2: I start my pre opt diet on July 9th wish me luck with that.

Congratulations, I also had to appeal twice. But you will be glad you hung in there after it's over. I was so scared right before surgery but then I got it together it's the best thing I could do for me right now. I was banded on 5/14/08 and have lost 23 lbs. It's worth the wait.

I too had two appeals and won my case in late June, my surgery is July 17th. May I ask their reasons for initially denying you?

I have been denied twice by UHC, wondering how long it took for obesity law to help, what were your circumstances and the fee charged. I am trying not to loose hope, but fading fast.
