It doesn't matter who you are looking to for customer service if you don't follow up once or twice nothing gets done! Last week I had my consultation with my Dr. I was assured by him and the girl who handles the insurance part of it that they would request approval the very next day. I called to follow up and was told that TODAY she sent it to another office for them to submit for approval. Why didn't they just say it would take a week at least for it to get submitted. Instead they let me believe it would be done immediately! In addition the doctor told me that he would accept my insurance companies payment and put me in a 5 year study where I could earn back at lease a few dollars of gas money since I live 2 hrs away. When I asked the young lady about it she said nothing was marked on my chart and that he has a set fee. She said she would check with him this morning and call me back...still waiting for the phone to ring! It took me a year to make the discission to have the surgery. Now I just want to get going.

One more mess up with this Dr and office and they will do the "hat trick". My hubby says that means 3 wins , losses and I am joking mistakes.

Try not to be discouraged. Just dream about a year or so from now and how FABULOUS you will feel.
