Fiber & Bowel Movements...

Now before I was banded I would take fiber pills every day or over other day, and my bowel movements were like clock work.. Now since I was banded i stopped taking them because i read somewhere that said that u should not eat foods high in fiber or something.. so i kinda figured that the fiber pills would get stuck.. but I know my stomach is bloated due to me not having the proper eliminations... Now last night i went to the drug store and bought some metamucil fiber pills and i took them last night before I went to bed and i must say I have had about 4 bowel movements already and I have only been up for 2 1/2 hours... I feel so much better... One thing I will say is that u have to tweek somethings, everything is not for everyone... but what i do know is FIBER IS FOR ME:thumbup::incazzato:....LOL... does anyone else take fiber?

why on earth would there be pain and burning? What the heck are you eating? I'm post banding not eating anything too spicy hot........

well when I have the runs it burns...no matter what ive ate...and if im constipated it hurts too i dunno...it might be because I have diverticulitus...(small sores in my intestines and colon)

I've been taking a probiotic in capsule form (Phillip's Colon Health) and that's helped a lot to keep things flowing smoothly.

Does anyone know if this is something that I can keep taking after I'm banded?

There is a tea called "smooth move" I have never tried it though.
