I think if you eat yogurt, cottage cheese ect A LOT that could be eating around the band. Because its "easy" it goes down easy . to me eating around the band is Liquid proteins , " easy " foods that slide down . Foods that do not require work , and that can mean yogurts , protein shakes, BUT I think it depends if your "Abusing" Them or not for lack of a better word.

My doc allows me my protein shake in the am and that is IT . Except after fills. He would not want me drinking them 2, 3 times a day . I guess it all depends on how you look at it ? Interprut it ?
