Ok..im trying to understand the situation of eating/drinking

So you can't eat and drink at the same time when ur banded. Like if u have a bite of something u cant take even a small sip of water? jw...thx for the help!

According to my dr. I can't drink 30 min before , during and 30 min after. This is so that your pouch stays full longer, you have better nutritional absorption and it is healthier in general. It is hard but I trust they know what they are talking about

Hey Joe, sometimes I will have a small sip of Water to clear my palette. I hate the feeling of food left in my mouth.

but I only take a SMALL sip. The philosophy behind not drinking is that it washes the food out of the pouch. The whole deal with the band is to create a pouch to hold the food as long as possible.
