I'd def have it done! I'm all about looking my best, and if I think boobies would help me look better than why not?! DH loves what I've got now, and since they are already shrinking I'm pretty sure I'll have to endure the pain to make us both happy! My mom and MIL had it done, and neither of them were in too much pain, so I'm not very scared about having that done. Now the TT, that I'm worried about. If i need it I'll have it. I dont need to look perfect but if there's too much there it's gonna have to go away!

Since you are in AZ, i would recommend Dr. Borsand in Scottsdale. He is awesome. I got implants in 2005.

Also, he has what he calls the 24 hour procedure. There is very little scarring, and within 24 hours the pain is minimual. It felt like i had a hard workout the day before, that type of pain. I went back to work within a week. His website is bodynew.com

I'd hate to not have nipple sensation.

I had a reduction about 6 years ago, and I have so much MORE sensation now than I did before. I used to not even notice if a guy was touching my nipples, but now I act like I'm in heat as soon as they are touched!!!

My surgery date is 2 days from today, and I am really hoping my girls don't flatten out! I've gained weight since the reduction, and they've gotten only slightly bigger, but due to the extra weight in them, they've dropped more. :tt2: I'm afraid they will be pancakes once I'm at my goal weight. It makes me sad because I've always had big boobs! They are part of my identity!

I would never get implants. I have always had little bitty boobies. It would be nice to have bigger ones, but there is no way I would go through the cost to have them made bigger. I don't see the point.

I guess I am used to having little ones. I also really like going without a bra.

I have always had C cups, still do, just now they are Deflated C cups. I had a consultation this past week and as much as I want them, I dont know if I can find the extra $$$ it's going to cost on top of the getting a TT also. We shall see what happens after other consults. But yes I would love to have a small implant to plump up the girls back where they are supposed to be. :-D

I've only lost about 35 pounds and right now my boobs look nice, but I can already tell they are deflating. I used to not be sure, but I've always been known as the girl with the huge knockers lol. If they were seriously deflated and droopy I would def get some kind of lift, maybe with an implant. I want to have nice big boobs that look like 20 year old boobs, not 70 year old boobs~! lol

Me too....the last time I lost a ton of weight, I went from DD to C, so I think I looked good. HOWEVER, if they start hanging, as I'm sure they will since I'm heading into my 50s in a coupla years here, I will most certainly be getting it done if I can afford it. Right along with a tummy tuck! My boobs are my girls! It's all I got! I'm single...I need something to haul the guys in! LOL!

I am definately leaning toward implants. For all those ladies who feel ginormous...I currently wear a 42JJ - that means the boobies are more than 10" larger (circumference) than my body. It's not so bad because I'm nearly 6' tall and broad-shouldered. :tongue2:

Bravissimo.com is wonderful - pricey, yes, but they were the only store I found when I began my journey to find the right bra size that had what I needed. When most people think a DDD is a "large" cup size, that doesn't mean much to me! I also didn't want to wear ugly bras - and Bravissimo has some of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen.

The Lane Bryant Cacique bras are great - now if they would go above a H cup, I'd be thrilled!

I do NOT want to go down to a C...maybe a DD, because that's what I was in high school before I got so much heavier. Most likely, I will have to find a specialist - I tend to get keloids (raised, puffy scars) and I need someone who can handle that, plus has operated on African-Americans. A lot of the sites I see don't have any pictures that look like me - that's important to me. :)

I pray that they won't get too flat and saggy with the weight loss, but I'm not so sure that won't happen. I will definately be working out throughout my journey, so hopefully I can minimize the need for surgery.

Good luck to all!

Up until age 31 I was a 34B. That was perfect for me. I HATE having huge, heavy, uncomfortable breasts. I'm delighted that mine are getting smaller. I was a 42DD and am down to a loose 38D. I in no way want implants. I want to be smaller. BUT. At my age, they do droop, so a breast LIFT is definately in order.

Even in my skinny days, my breasts were NEVER perky. I have been thinking about implants for years. I just felt there was no point in getting them while fat. After I lose my weight, I plan to use that as an excuse to go ahead and have it done.

I am definitely getting implants. I have gone from a DD to a D cup and I know that after removing the excess skin that I might be lucky to be left with a C cup. I got use to having larger breasts and I am missing them, that and the fullness. Right now my breasts are puddling in my bras making it impossible to get decent cleavage. I describe the way they look in a bra like a puddle of Water with a breeze blowing making ripples on the top. Not pretty. As for the final size my bf and I disagree, he would like to see a large DD or higher and Im thinking more about a large D. Men..... lol

I went in to the cosmetic surgeon for a consult Monday. He said I have enough tissue for a C cup, but I'm used to a DD or a DDD. I could live with a C, but I'm not sure my husband can.

Since I've got over 100 lbs to lose, I KNOW I'm going to have some changes in the bustline...I've said before, I'm a 42JJ, so now I'm considering what I'd like to drop "down" to...:girl_hug:

Perhaps a DD or F, depending on what the rest of me looks like. Because I'm tall, I think I can carry more *ahem* junk up top than maybe a more petite woman could.

Hubby says don't "add" anything, just lift and tighten what's there...now when the time comes, I'll just have to find a surgeon that specializes in tiny "seams"...because I keloid, that's super-important to me.

Anyone know of any specialists out there? It never hurts to start early...

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Life as a big person had limited my life to what I knew I could manage to do each day. That was eat. I hadn't anything else to look forward to. So my eating choices were the best I could dream up. I planned the cooking in managable lots in my head and filled my day with and around it.

Now I have a whole new big, bigger, biggest, best days ever. I am out there with those skinny people doing stuff i could never have dreamt of. Food is now an after thought. It doesn't consume my day. I still enjoy the good home cooked food but I eat smaller portions. I leave food on my plate when I am full. I can no longer hear my mother's voice saying eat it all up, ther are starving children in Africa who would want that!

I still cook for family feasts, I love cooking. I still do holidays but I have changed from the All inclusive drinking and eating everything everyday kind to Self catering accommodation. This gives me the choice of cooking or eating out as I choose. I rarely drink anymore as I usually travel alone now and I feel I need to keep aware of my surroundings.

I don't know at what point my life expanded, was it when I lost 100 pounds? Was it when I left my walking stick at home ? Was it when I said yes to an outing instead of finding an excuse to stay home ? i look back at my last five years and wonder how loosing weight has made such a difference. Be ready to amaze yourself.

BTW, the liquid diet sucks, one more day and you are over the worst. You can do it.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
