bc/bs of la. approved my surgery and now says they wont certify my surgery for tomorrow even though i met all requirements!!!!

anyone else had this happen!!! and have to appeal :wink2:

What??!! They approved it and then the day before your surgery, they wouldn't certify it? I have never heard of that before. I am so sorry for you, that is just awful!

Did they tell you why? Do you have an advocate to contact that can help you through this?

That is so sad, but do not give up, I know BCBS could be like that. I suggest you to appeal.

Hey! I have BCBS of LA too, and I'm going to my first appointment with my doctor on the 26th. Who's your doctor? I'd like to know in case I have the same problem. (I'm going with Bellanger out of B.R.) Did BCBS tell you why they won't certify? I'll throw a fit if they do that to me!
