Post-op Nausea

Hi there, my husband had his surgery 3 days ago and has been home since yesterday. He is managing small amounts of chicken broth and V8 juice/water. However he is feeling quite nauseous especially after eating. Is this normal and if so how long does it tend to last? I am a little worried as he had no nausea in the hospital and was taking fluids there.

Thanks.... Lisa

i would think that they gave him a nausea medication to help control that when he was in the hospital.. if u call his Dr.'s office and let the nurse know that he is feeling nausiated they will prpb. prescribe something for that for him...Also ginger root is good to help with nausea... You can get that from the Vitamin shop
