New bander

Hi.

I was just banded on 4/8 so 9 days ago, I've lost 11 pounds and really have no interest in food other than cooking it. It was tough going the first 5-6 days with radiating pain around my heart to my left and right shoulders, but that has now subsided and all is right with the world.

Being on a liquid diet is of concern to me. How do you get the protien in? The protein powders that I've tried are awful and will not mix. Please help.:confused2:

Hey Rox...there are liquid protein drinks out there. To me, they taste lots better than the powdered versions. Your doc may have a brand preference, too.
