Newbie - 6 months out from lapband surgery

Hello! My name is Amy and I had my lapband surgery in October 2007. So far I have lost 47 lbs. Right now I am at a difficult stage, I am having trouble getting past this phase and on to losing 43 more lbs! Any suggestions or advice?

change up your excercise, mess with your protien intake, write down what you are eating, making sure not to go over what calories you want to. It is easy to go over without meaning to without writing it down. I was banded in Nov o7 and have had quite a few stalls. I am at 47lbs and just keep plugging away.

Hang in there your plateau will pass with patience.

I was banded in October also. I stopped losing after about 43 lbs. Went back for another fill and started watching everything I ate. I had been drinking gatorade and juice, not even thinking about the calories, had been drinking slimfast and eating protein bars which was basically a candy bar. I thought I was following directions. Nope! Stopped doing that and began writing down what I ate and counting calories. Finally started losing again. Now I am down 49lbs. wish it would go faster but I think when the weather warms up and I can get out of the house and move around it will start to come off again a little better. Hang in there we didn't put it on overnight so I guess it won't come off overnight.:tt1:
