I actually add my water and then drain the noodles. You may want to check with your Dr. Chicken Noodle "SOUP" tastes a whole lot better than just plain chicken broth.

Right now he is on the 14 day pre-op diet, so i think just liquids. The clear liquiids comes after the diet for the 1st day and then back to liquids for 2 weeks. I think I'll get out the blender.

My Dr. made me go on clear liquids for the first 2 weeks. Then the after that for a month liquid and soft food diet. Although I must admit I did have chicken noodle soup and I did eat noodles but it did hurt. So be carefull and blend - blend - blend.

I agree. There is a Lipton Chicken Noodle Cup-a-Soup that I enjoy. During a liquid stage following a fill where all I could get down was liquids and the noodles were too much, I simply drained the soup through a tea strainer and drank the fluids. Sometimes out of the blue I'll have a day where I'm really tight, so I'll go back to this soup and maybe add a couple of dashes of hot sauce to give it some kick.

I blended the whole can up with more water than it called for. He is gone this week with work and has gone thru all that I sent with him. His spirits seem to be good, but I havent asked if he is hungry, because that answer seem obvious. I'll have to find the cup of soups that you mentioned
