I have only go 15 - 20 lbs to go and it is very hard for me to get it lost. I have a tight band and I am trying anything to lose these last 20. But I gain 2lbs then lose 3lbs. I think I am doing well then I weigh myself and I gained 2lbs. Then I pig out what ever I want to eat or should I say can eat. Then I lose weight. I am going crazy. Is there anyone out there that can help me.

I also have had the band several years and have not had a fill since 8 months ago. I do have to Purge a mucus substance after I eat. It seems to be better later during in the day but no matter what I eat I Purge the mucus substance. I also told a friend of mine it is like I am throwing up all my saliva that I have swallowed. I want to wait it out until I lose another 20 lbs before I go back to the Dr. I have been stuck at a platue of 155-158 for the past 6 months. I am only 20lbs from my goal and it is killing me being this close but yet that far away. But no you are not alone in this wierd reaction our body is doing everytime we eat. Good luck. I have had the lap band for a while now and I am stuck at my weight of 150-155. I want to jump start my weight loss again. I was thinking doing the Atkins diet plan. But I can only consume 2-4 ounces at one time. How can anyone follow the atkins, with that much restriction. Please help. Andrea M

What night and time is this lap band support group.

I know this sounds crazy but I take 2 Gummies with immunity support from walmart a day - 1000 units of Gummie D3 - 2000 Gummie of C every day. Plus I can't keep nothing down so I actually have one strawberry shake from Mc Donald every day 560 calories. Plus 2 oz of meat thru out the day. I loose about 3 lbs a week. It works for me. I get regular blood work done every other month to make sure I am getting enough vitamins and my thyroid meds are still working.

My band was tighten and I am at 71/2 with a 9cc Realize band. I PB everything I eat. Mornings are the worse I can't even drink milk. I can't believe I am surviving with as little as I eat. Why is the weight not coming off? Someone out there please help. Hartsdream@aol.com

Well here I am also ladies. I have less than 20 to go and I am having a hell of a time losing it. I can't eat - I throw everything up unless I eat only 2oz at a time. I know - I know I should be glad but I can't believe my body can survive with this little food each day. Its pretty amazing I am not sick or something but thank God I'm not. I just eat when I can and wait 10 min to see it it will come back up. Pray for me - I want to get down to 136 so I can be a size 6 again. I hope I am satisfied with myself by then. I am filled at 7.50 on a 9cc band. I can hardly eat anything without throwing up. I guess I will stay this way until I lose more fat and then the band will loosen so I can eat again. If this is the sweet spot - let me tell you it not very sweet.

Hi everyone it finally happened I reached my 50 lb mark. I am so happy. After 2 1/2 yrs. I finally figured out how to eat. Fruit or a salad with every meal until I feel satisfied not full.

I had my band done last march and I started at 210. I am now at 180. but I haven't seen my doctor for the past 3 months because he told me I can only consume about 4oz so the rest is up to me. I either want to cheat or stick to the foods he suggests or else. He didn't make me feel happy at all. But he is right I have to stick to high protein foods and away from sweets.

Well it seems I have been complaining too soon. Since my last filling I have had no hungry and I can only eat 2 oz. at a time. Yes sweet God I finally feel its working !!!!!

Well I know earlier I wrote after my last fill but thank God I finally got my sweet spot - I can only eat 2oz of food at a time and can't wait until my weight falls off.

Thank God it finally happened - I finally got a fill that worked my last fill did it. I can only eat 2oz of food at a time or I feel pain so I try not to push it to that point so I can not wait until the weight starts falling off.

How many calories should we be eating a day

I wanted to find out when do you even go and talk to a plastic surgeon? I talk to one before my surgery and he said he could give it to me because of my excess skin from 4 c-sections but he told me to loose weight first. My question is how much weight do you have to loose before I can have a tummy tuck?

I had the band and fills and still am having problems losing weight. Surgery March 27th 08 and I have lost 30 only

I was banded on March 27th 08 and I have had 3 fills so far #1 3cc, #2 1cc, #3 1cc total of 5 cc in my realize band and feel a little resistance but not much.

I know how you feel. I had my surgery March 27th and I have only lost 30 lbs. I am very disappointed in my self. I have a realize band it holds 10 cc. and so far I have had 3 fills one was 3cc the second was 1cc and the third was 1cc and a total of 5 cc in a 10cc band and still don't feel tight.:cool:

Well after seeing you successes I feel terrible about my weight loss. I had the surgery in March 27 08' and I have only loss 30 lbs. I am 4 11 1/2 inches tall and I feel really sad now.

My band holds 9 cc. Realize Band, My doctor said this fill should help me not eat as much, He was wrong. How long do I have to wait after a fill to feel the restriction from it.

I have a realize band that only holds 9cc. Now after 3 fills he said I have had put in 5 cc and still no good weight loss to me I have lost 30 lbs since March. I should of lost more than that. Very frustrated - Hartsdream@aol.com
