lol.. that is too funny but i know u are serious... the growling.. and gurgling... lol.. wow do u have some tea bags.. caffene free of course.. if u do with some splenda sweeten it and add ice cubes to it... now i havent been banded but i am eating less to get prepared so i wont kill myself when the time comes...but i find out if i drink something warm it will calm it down... if that dosent do it.. i drink something sweet like sweet tea... u cant drink the mcdonalds tea...lol so u have to make your own sweet tea.. this should help... If u can drink v-8 juice try that also.. warm or cold works for me also.... hope this helps...

Yep, I have one living here too. It freaks the dogs out. How gross is that. Seriously. From what I've read, it doesn't get much better, either.

It doesn't seem to make much difference whether I've eaten or not. Actually - the more I think about it, it seems worse a few hours *after* I've eaten, rather than on a completely empty stomach.

Maybe some 'veterans' have ideas?

This is the most funniest thing ever!!!!!!! Even after eating (Broth or Protein Drinks) it's acting up. I'm Tellin you this freakin thing is LOUD!!!! I wish there was a way to block that noise. I'm serious, I was in meeting yesterday... and I sware.. I was soooo embarrased..... didn't even know what to do! Just kept on going.. and going.. and getting louder as it went. I gotta find a way to put him in a sound proof room or something!!! LOL.. Please pray for me today!!.. .Leavin the house about 8:00 for surgery. I'll keep ya posted. Take care!! xoxo:thumbup:

Heheh - I know how you feel! I don't know if it is the same for everyone, but for me it settled down after about 6-8 weeks out from the op. I'm just over 4 months out now and, while it growls now and then, it's not anything like it was in the first several weeks. I tried to take the attitude that every time it growled, it was my band telling me it was hard at work and I would smile thinking of where I was hoping to be one day. Of course, my work doesn't require me to be in meetings with lots of people very often, so that's easy for me to say

I am not on an all liquid diet I have just changed the way I eat all together since I am getting ready for surgery next week. My stomach growls all the time too although it's not that loud I guess to get embarassed over but it growls.
