How is everyone who had surgery so far? I want details...everything... from length of surgery & how u are all feeling tell me all you can please! I am getting nervous now! 7 more days!

Well I had my surgery on April 21. My Dr was and is great. I am having a little harder time than most. Today was the first day that I could stand or sit up or walk with out pain for more than 5 minutes!!! The Dr puts a stitch in the abdominal wall and he siad there are nerves all over and he feels that he stitched 1 of those small nerves. He gave me the option of opening up the inscision and removing the stitch or waiting it out. I decided to wait it out with the help of a nerve blocker. Today has been the best day yet and I am now excited about it. Its the 10th day and I have lost about 8 pounds!!! I was a great descision to do this and even though I had troubles I would do it again.
