oh Paige I hear ya...my pants are tight and I dont own anything bigger. Not a good feeling.

Ive been struggling with eating poorly and been in that cycle of eating soft foods bc of food intolerances. Going to give it a few more days of liquids and mushies before I even think about an unfill. Bc if that is the case then I'm prob done with fills.

Next meetings: Monday Dec 14th @ Faulkner, Tues Dec 15th B+W

Bostonmomma congrats on your surgery date!!!

I'm really going to do my best to keep busy at night. I realize now that the difference between last year at this time and now is that I used to stay busy at night. I didn't have bad foods in my house and was really working hard at this. My band is too loose and I'm not watching my Portion Control. Not a good combination.

I'd like to go to the meeting at the Faulkner, not the Brigham, simply because of the parking stuff. Anyone else able/willing to go??? Please don't make me go alone again! :w00t:

Paige....

My name is Holly (by the way!:tongue2:). I am planning on going to the support group meeting at the faulkner! I know I am not "really" part of the group...yet....but I would like to hear the trials and tribulations you all go through. I put it on my calendar!:w00t:

Excellent, Holly. Barring some unforseen work issue, I'll be there!

In the event ya'll notice that I've changed my screen name, I thought I'd explain. I had the same screen name as my e-mail address for the longest time.....and some guy I met on line Googled me and came up with THIS site. Not exactly how I want him to find out. I felt rather exposed to say the very least. So...suffice it to say, I decided in case anyone else opted to do the same, it would just be easier to change my name. Hope that doesn't seem crazy!!

Enjoy the snow!! :w00t:

Hi everyone. I'm thinking i should go to the meeting. It would be nice to be around people who are going through all the same junk as I am right now. feeling pretty low about myself at this point. I'm still doing "bad" things (eating wise). Still not exercising either. Keep telling myself tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow! This time of year is always hard for me. Ya know the darker days & being stuck inside is hard for everyone.

I know where you are!! I finally did it today. I put my scale away in the closet. I just can't deal with it right now. I'm frustrated that I've gained weight and I can't seem to get rid of it. I've promised that I will be kinder to myself this year.....so it starts now. :scared2:

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
