How many work outside of home and how many have insurance??

:confused:The reason for this post is because I presently have full coverage insurance and work (3) 12 hr shifts weekly BUT I maybe unemployed soon and without coverage. I'm nervous about band problem's as well as just not having insurance and would appreciate any input. I think it wouldn't be such a big deal to me if I were younger(42) and didn't have the band... The reason I asked about working outside the home is I find it hard to juggle and find I don't do as well at home after work . I think it's emotional eating. How do you find a ''happy medium''?? I am an RN in an Intensive Care unit, maybe a less stressful job will be good for me. Thanks for input:wink:

I also work 3 x 12's, and while I'm not an RN, I know all about the stress that can accompany an ICU. I worked in 9-1-1 dispatch for 14 years and that sure had it's moments. Almost makes our ER look tame :crying:

You are in a great field as nursing is still in great demand. If the ICU is causing too much stress a med-surg floor might suit you better.

If at all possible I'd keep an insured position, because though you are still relatively young at 42, anything can and does happen.

Best of luck with your decisions.
