Hey Everyone, I was wondering where Jason was. I am sure he will be at support group tomorrow. It has been a while since I have been on as well. It was a busy time through the holidays. Hope to see everyone tomorrow at Support group. In response to the easy way out with lapband. You have to exercise and follow the rules if you want it to be a success....that's not always easy. But this has been a blessing for me. I feel 100% better than I did prior to surgery. See you tomorrow, Cindy:thumbup:

Hi,

I am hoping I can make myself get up and out in the FREEZING cold to go to the meeting in the morning. I didn't get to go to Dec b/c of Christmas gatherings but anyway so maybe I'll meet some of yall tomorrow.

OK JASON! Now we're really worried, you weren't at the meeting this morning. It was a really good one. I was able to meet razberry kisses and skinny lou! Great to meet you both. We told other people of our little group here and I hope some of them join us.

I am reading the second one now. I am hooked. I think I heard someone describe them as "crack on paper" LOL

Have you read the sookie books by Charlaine Harris? Just as addictive!

Yeah, I think that's what hooked my Goddaughter. She said she had trouble getting into the book, but once she saw the movie her head is buried in these books. Guess she had to get a clear picture in her head!

The Sookie books are aka The Southern Vampire Mysteries - They are also what the HBO show "True Blood" is based off of. There are 8 books so far and another one due out in may. I read all of them in about 2 weeks.

Here is a link where you can download them for free. I wish I would have seen this before I paid to download all of them...LOL! The Twilight books are on that site too just search for Stephanie Meyer.

ok first off im sorry for not dropping in for sometime. i have been real busy with the house kids and extra work.

i see everyone is doing good. so keep up the work. i went for my 3rd feel last monday the 12th and i had only lost 3 pounds from number 2 to 3. but at least i lost some. now i have 6cc's in my realize band which scares me since it only holds 9cc! but i cant tell you this i have never been so full in my live until now. so this last fill is doing great for me, maybe its my sweet spot.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
