Hi everyone, I just wanted to stop and say hi...I do not have a date yet for my band placement but should be getting it soon.....I am from Mobile, Al so if there is anyone close by that has been banded give me a shout....but I am also willing and ready to talk to anyone......I have read a lot but still have several questions....

Hi. I am also new to this site. I have been reading the posts for probably three or four months. I had my 5th appointment today with the PCP. I have to complete 6 months as a requirement by my insurance company. I am getting nervous and excited. I can't believe the time went by so fast.

Another newbie here. I got my band date today (soooo excited!) and have been reading/lurking for about three months, pending finalization of my surgery.

Folks here seem VERY friendly and helpful and a wonderful means of both information and support.
