Hello, I'm 33 years old and flying to Monterrey Mexico on April 1st from Houston, Texas to have lap band surgery with Dr. Arturo Rodriguez.

Any insight/advise would be appreciated. Any doctors in Houston, TX willing to do follow-up on patients who had the banding done in Mexico?

Jean, best of luck to you! Have you gone to the Inamed website and checked their dr. listings for a fill dr.? Once you get a name, please call that dr's office direct and confirm BEFORE you get your band that he/she will accept you. If you do a "search", you should find tons of info. on Mexican band drs., what to bring, what to expect, etc.
