I have a consultation with Dr. Spiegel. Could anyone who has used him please give me some information about what he requires. Does he require a Pre-Opt Diet? What was your personal experience with him? Are you glad you had the surgery? How long were you down? How long until 1st fill?

I appreciate any information you could give.

Dr. Spiegel put my lap band in 5 days ago! I did not have to go on a pre-op diet, but I was on clear liquids for 1 day before the surgery. I came back to work yesterday but I could have been back Monday if I needed to. Honestly, I've had more pain from the sore throat after anesthesia than I've had at my incision sites. Dr. Spiegel will answer whatever questions you have, but you have to be prepared and have your questions ready.
