I'm finally feeling human now! Although I am hungry a lot and kind of cheating on the liquid diet a little. I was in awful pain from the gas, I kept feeling like I was having a heart attack or my arm was being ripped off from the shoulder socket up until about 5 days ago. Other than that, relatively quick recovery! I have my first fill on June 4th so I can't wait until then, although right now I am a little single focused on what "mushies" I will get to eat next week.

Hi I've been making fresh Soups and puree them. Alot of Protein Drinks. I was 203 and and now I am 184 so I'm pretty happy. I like my wine so I miss a glass on weekends. I don't get a fill until the 10th of June. Let me know how you do.

Well, 7_13_17.gifI did it, tonight I had regular food, 4oz of chicken and dumpling. So far so good, took my time and chewed really good. I can actually feel full, maybe alittle pressure ,I guess that's what I feel. Anyway I'm gona take it slow and still some mushie and some not so mushie for a few days.

Just thought I would share, it felt good to chew. The hardest was not drinking anything for 1/2 hour.

Hope everyone had a great Mothers Day.

I am doing great! I had my first fill on Tuesday. I am feeling restriction finally! I hope to see weight loss soon! Today is my first day of mushies since my fill. I had a light yougut smoothie, a can of low carb SlimFast and a cup of broccoli and cheese Soup. It is almost 5 now and I am still full from lunch. I wonder how I will feel Saturday when I can eat regular food. I have to go back and see the Dr in one month.

I'm still hungry. I think that's all I ever get to say these days. I go in tomorrow for my first fill--FINALLY! I am hopeful that it will help. I've heard that you don't always get restriction on the first try. It may take several fills to get somewhere.

Dandy: Yes, you're in the right spot! We just kinda post when the mood strikes. We were much more active last month. Shame on us! We are still new so we should be posting more!

Coloradochick:Sounds like you're doing good11721.giff?id=11721, I have a few more weeks before my first fill. It's great that you are finally feeling restriction. Does it feel tight even with eating mushies? And the big question is did it hurt? 11679.giff?id=11679 Keep me posted and good luck on Saturday with regular food.

Thanks Turler:

I know what you mean, but it's great to see how everyone is doing. Let me know how you do on your first fill. So far I'm ok with just eating 3 meals7_13_17.gif aday @ 4oz each, well maybe 4 to 5 oz depending on what I'm eating, but I usually do 4oz. Good luck tomorrow with your fill.

Dandy,

I do feel restriction with Soup and with yogurt. The pain for a fill is minimal - just a sting.

I walked for 30 min last night. I weighed this morning and I am up 2.5 lbs. That part is not so good! I need to stay away from the scale!

I dont think I am eating too much.

Colarado Chick,

Don't eat too less either, because your body will go into store fat mode. It's like a balancing act. You have to eat enought to fuel your body, but you have to exercise also.

Sometimes I weigh myself and I'm up 2-3 pounds but a few days later I will weigh myself and be 5-6 pounds down. It also depends on how much salt is in what you are eating too. Sometimes it's just Water weight.

Anyway, good luck with your weightloss.

Sincerely, Ms. NeNe

I'm a little nervous about my fill today. I can hardly wait, but I have read several times on these forums that you may not feel the restriction until the next day or two. I will need to be so careful I think. I think maybe next time I won't do this on a Friday just in case I need to be unfilled (like so many).

Well, I'm just excited about maybe, possibly losing some weight! LOL

I started regular food at dinner time the last few days and so far so good. Once, I made the mistake of popping a tatter tot (I made for my kids they smelled so good!) into my mouth and uggg! It was not pretty! I urped some of it up, but spent several minutes tearing, foaming and drooling into the toilet! Exactly what I needed! Good deterrent, but I'm not even filled yet!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
