Keep moving, I truly think it makes for a speedy recovery, not to mention avoiding clots, even if you walk in circles.

You're looking great!

You look awesome!! So glad you are home and doing good. Keep breathing, breathing, breathing and moving.... I dont want you to get any clots or lung problems, you've been through so much already.

I know that several people have told you how much of an inspiration you are, Hopefully you don't get tired of hearing it!!!! You are such an inspiration to me!!!

ok, im set up in my bed but sitting down. i have an alarm that goes off every 45 mins to get my butt up and moving.

i cant walk in circles cause ive gotten really dizzy even just turning, so im walking the perimeter of our house 2-3 times.

Lipo incisions are starting to itch horribly. i had DH rub them and that helped, but i can only have him rub for so long ..

my hands and feet look like they belong to the old 400 lb me. horrible!! talk about puffy! im trying to drink as much as possible, but i think my band is really tight or something, cause im just not interested in anything - eating or drinking which i guess is a good thing cause much to my dismay i had more 'skin' than 'fat' removed and it was considerably less than i hoped for... i was hoping for at least 35ish, not so much! :( so hopefully, being nice and restricted afterwards, i can make it up to 35 (hahahahahahahahaha HA)

my DH is so sweet, but just doenst get it... im achy and just not in the best of moods ... so he's getting all defensive and such ... **sigh** i am not intending to be bitchy, really...

DD is in one of her moods ... dont have to worry about the low BP now that's for sure!! she's tired and cranky and pissed off that we wont give her candy like my dad did when he was here watching her (we never give her candy - especially to 'keep her awake'.. grrrrr) so now i have a recovering sugar addict for a daughter. yay.

ok ... getting tired and its almost time to walk.

thanks everyoen i really appreciate you all!

You're looking great! What a difference. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I need them. Starting to freak out a little, as in getting very scared! I have to keep telling myself that it's all going to be good. Looking at your results is very reassuring. God bless you. Take care!

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
