Dr. Lomonaco in Houston?

Recommended Posts

hi

i booked my PS with dr lo. i wasnt sure if i was even going to proceed but after doing research with a few doctors...i decided on dr lomonaco.

i like his methodology and approach towards the surgery. also he really guided me on what i DO need to do and more importantly DONT need to do. he was the only surgeon that gave me guidance in the "dont need" area

i also got a great feeling from his staff. they remind me of Dr Spivak's staff which have made this journey much easier.

i will do TT, breast lift and bootie augment....

timing is still up in the air...my niece's wedding is in august and i go to NY for 6 weeks sept/oct.

so i am scheduled for nov 11...however if they have a cancel within the next 2 weeks i could go then.. i want to be healed for the wedding

Josie,

That's great!! I'm so happy for you!! I'm scheduled Jan 7th. I didn't want to do my surgery till after christmas so my fiance's family wouldn't see the bruises and such. Dr. Lo is doing Lipo on my neck, lifting my boobs, tucking my bra roll. I'm going to go see him again next month to talk to him about actually tightening the skin on my neck (if he thinks I'll need it) and doing lipo/tucking on the two areas under my shoulder blades on my back (they look horrible). I can't wait till my surgery!! Let me know how yours goes!!

hi brandy

since our surgeries are close in timing we can coach each other. i'm acting like "no big deal" because it is so far away. as we get closer.....i'm a scaredy cat. in fact i always say i'm like a man when i get sick or in pain ha!

the one area of question that bugs me is my tricep. so i am going to work out this area with weights (i hate tricep exercises) and see the best i can get it before deciding if i need to do it in phase 2. i really dont want that scar...so i will try my best.

anyway...keep me posted on your second meeting.

Will do!! Look at it this way, if you can handle the band surgery, you can handle this!! We have been thru so much already, this will be nothing.

I'm in Pearland and have 'back boobs', TOO!!

I'm wondering when I should call to set up a consult or attend a seminar with Dr. LoMonaco -- I've still got a long way to go to get to goal, but once I'm there, I don't want to languish in this deflated fat suit one day longer than I have to!!

Nana,

You are doing great!! It never hurts to make an appt now, besides, it'll take about three months for them to get you in. They can always have you come back in closer to your surgery date for pics before surgery. This way you'll know what he can do for you and how much it will cost, and lock in his pricing in case he goes up anytime soon. His pricing is great, and his bedside manner is awesome. His staff is very sweet and you feel totally comfortable with him. I'm counting down till January when my surgery is scheduled. I tried on wedding dresses last weekend and I had major skin folds hanging over the top of my gown, it sucked!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
