has anyone cured their pcos symptoms with the lap band surgery?

i have pcos and i want to cure it my doc say if i can lose 60lbs i may just get my wish ...i weigh 195and 60lbs seems impossible if anyone has cured themselves by weightloss please tell me all about it

I wouldn't say that I "cured" it but I have relieved my symptoms. My cycles are more regular now.

My SIL has PCOS and the Dr told her to lose 30 lbs to cure her symptoms. She lost 30lbs a year ago but still is ttc.

I think CURE is a strong word. I have lost 60 pounds and my symptoms are much improved and my fertility is restored I am actually pregnant now so weight loss is over for a bit, but I will restart after baby is born!
