well i hope all the mothers have a happy mothers day. i have a ough weekend ahead....well being on liquids i have a good friends 50th surprise birthday party tonite...and im bringing 2 appetizers...is it rude to bring my own Soup and to have my Protein Shakes. tomorrow everyone is working so we are celebrating mothers day tuesday evening...anyone have suggestions for a place that has great soup...lol

Im sorry val, it is not rude, u have a legitimate reason to subtitute your meal, if they dont know you have the band, do what I do, blame it on ulcers or gallbladder. lol, im sure they will understand. and tues, suppose to be a much better day for weather. lol. My day tomorrow is short just brunch and a movie. Happy mother's day to you too.:)

Hello all Happy Mothers Day

miss ya'

how's everyone doing?

I went back to work about 6 weeks ago, I have been straight out exhausted. I am working safety for Jersen Industries on the Global Foundries Chip plant they are building. It is the largest job in the US and should I make it through this, my career will be set for life.

anyway, missing ya all, so wanted to check in.

might be going to Rochester in a couple weeks for shool

No fill for me. Im just right, I get stuck on some bread but most things go down .I havent had to pb since I got pregnant. I enjoy being able to eat most things and not feel too guilty. Of course I gained @ 15 lbs in the last few months but whatever!!! I only have 11 weeks left to go and them I can try to get back on track. 77 days until my due date!!!!!!!

      I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
      I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

      I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
