Your blog put tears in my eyes......I have a daughter the same age....and look forward to her reaction as well!

Congrats on the best hug ever!

Being the mother of a teenager is the hardest job I'll ever love. Any quality time with my busy daughter is cherished. She has school, a job and a horse. She's always on the go. Sometimes I just want to hold her and cuddle her like I did when she was a baby! But she's growing up, and has a good head on her shoulders, and I love the woman in her, too

I had the most magical moment with my teenager today. And all because of my band!

I posted it on my weight loss blog.

So, how are you all doing?

That is so sweet!!! My daughter is 9 and she too has made comments about how I look good and did the same thing to me like wow mom your waist is really smaller when she hugged me. I just had a smile from ear to ear. I had the same type of experience with my last fill and for a couple of weeks could barely get anything down. I didn't get any removed but probably should have. The last few months have been one day super tight the other no PB's at all. The band has a mind of its own that is for sure!!! BUT I LOVE MY BAND as I feel better then I have in years and I am feeling the peace of not being controlled by my eating disorder. I control it now and not going to bed feeling guilty for overeating that day is soooooo GREAT!!!!! I can be happy with me now and how strong I am for the help of my BAND!!!!!!!!! It is the best thing I have ever done for myself and getting healthy and happy.

Thanks for sharing! That brought me tears and I can't wait to have a "I LOVE THIS BAND" experience!!

Congrats!

My moment wasn't tear jerking like yours, but it still means a lot to me. I started to eat a piece of leftover pizza today and after one bite I fed the rest to the dogs. It just wasn't worth all the work to chew, chew, chew....I didn't NEED it, nor was I enjoying it. AMAZING
