Stocking Up-What do you think I should buy~2 weeks pre-op?

My surgery is Feb. 13th. I know there are lists somewhere of what people recommed, I just couldn't find them. What do you recommend I buy to keep myself comfortable and satisfied?

So far I've bought:

3 extra pillows

A new digital scale

A new shower massager with a long hose thing

A heat pack that goes around the shoulder that you microwave (shoulder pain)

Campbells chunky Soups to be pureed

Plan on buying:

Gas X

liquid Tylenol (having trouble finding this)

So what else?

Thanks!

Marieze

If you have a health food store near you, (or look in your regular grocery...Ours has this as well) there is an entire line of organic cream soups that are to die for. Cream of Portabella Mushroom, cream of brocolli, cream of carrot, ginger and cashew(awesome), tomato basil, butternut squash. I lived on these. I just added some whey isolate protien powder. They come in little soft pack boxes, with at snap lid. They each have two cups, so for us it is two servings. When I feel bad, it's cold outside and I can't get warm or have had a fill, I still eat them.

Get some sugar free jello and popsicles. You may also want to start trying protein drinks to see which ones you like. Oh don't forget he chewable vitamins. Good luck.
