Crystal, you and I are Monday also, you getting nervous yet???

Nope, not yet! I am SUPER (did I say SUPER?) excited though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had a few surgeries in my day so I am not really nervous about that. But ask me again on Sunday and I bet my opinion will change! I went out last night and bought some Malt-O-Meal for week 2 (full liquids for me).

How are you holding up?

I am doing great!!! I am SUPER excited too. I have had knee surgery, but I don't think that is comparable to this. My Dr will put me on full liquids when I come home. My wife has found some fantastic protein powder, so I am looking forward to some protein drinks.

Hi dj:

OMG! Know the feeling. I was scheduled for next Tuesday and they moved me up to this Friday - OMG just 2 days! Got a case of the jitters last night, but not too bad. I figure if you come this far - you made the decisions - took all the testing (what fun!) - went through pre-op diet (oh joy!) then I might as well finish and go the distance. That was my decision months ago and it never waivered! Until last night!

Good luck!

Hang in there everyone....You will ALL do wonderful. I am 6 days post-op and feel almost back to normal today. If you get nauseous, like I usually do, make sure to tell them that while they are prepping you for surgery. They have a great med for your IV....and it will help you not feel nauseous when you wake up. It worked for me!! Best of luck to all of you and post updates when you are ready to share:)
