Last year I undergo Lasik surgery for my nearsightedness and like the concern of other people im not comfortable in wearing contacts because my eyes are sensitive for infection and I hate wearing those oldie thick glasses that I had before so my friend suggested me for Lasik exam in my2020 have you heard that? So then to make the story short I flew to Kansas ( I also had a business trip during that time) to have then the LASIK exam ( to determine if im a good candidate) The exam includes a complete evaluation of the internal and external health of my eyes. They create a detailed map of the eyes and perform all of the visual tests necessary to prepare for LASIK. And the nice thing with it is they use the latest, most advanced technology to thoroughly determine my eligibility for LASIK. Good news I passed and undergo for the surgery and for almost 2 months I suffered a side effects ( its normal BTW), and right now I feel better than ever, I can able to see 20/20 and many people say I look young and im happy with the outcome. Lasik is a life saver for me.

I am jealous. I really want to have it done but it's 4,500.00 here. I see ads all the time to have it done way cheaper than that.

I had it done a couple of years ago and I wouldn't hesitate to have it done out of town/state. I was only down for the day... and was out watching a movie at the theater that night. It is totally awesome!! :crying:

Don't you have to go back for a check after a couple of weeks though? I could have it done in Arizona probably way cheaper. I usually stay there at least 2 weeks when I go to see my dad.

I had lasik done two years ago and I love it. I highly recommend getting the plugs in the eye ducts put in. It keeps your natural tears in your eyes so your eyes never get dry while they are recovering. I got the ones that naturally dissolve after like 2-3 months. I paid a grand for both eyes to be done and the duct things. The next morning when I came back I was like 20/15 in one eye and 20/20 in the other. You can tell you are still healing for a good week afterwards. Oh and I never slept with those stupid glasses on. I tried, but it was so uncomfortable.

Well it has now been almost 3 weeks

WOW the surgery itself was kind of freaky, but the after effects are well worth it 20/20 in both eyes down from 20/40 and 20/35
