Nope. I do not believe in god, nor does the fact that others do incite such hostility or anger in me. Some people need a god, others do not. I'm more about believing what I want, and letting others believe what they want, than letting the fact that someone believes differently than I do control my emotional state.

I may think it's rubbish to hear someone thanking god, or to see people going to church. I may find it frustrating to have the faith/evidence discussion during theorlogically-based debates/conversations/discussions/etc.

But it does not engender as much hostility for me.

Heh. It's like the ongoing discussion about heterosexual versus gays. I am married to an gorgeous and awesome younger guy, and I adore him. Religion is not the truth, God is. Live well, respect well, and leave this earth at least as good of a place as you entered it. Do these things and any God I'd be proud to be a part of will accept you into his good graces. If believing in one particular doctrine is the only way to enter Heaven, then I eagerly await Hell.
