Banded in Mexico/No Fills in AZ?

I was banded by a nice facility in Mexico and my experiences were favorable. It's time for my first fill. I was hoping to get this done in Phoenix, AZ for convenience. When I call any facility in Phoenix, they ask where was the procedure preformed. I tell them, then they promptly advise 'We do not service bands done out of the country". Any advice?

Sure,

call someone else...say you are new to the area and need an appointment.

But I recommend going to Mesa, Phoenix, or Herber...

there are dozens of clinics that will see new patients.

Those that claim no Mexico are just upset they lost out to OUTSOURCING....kinda trying to keep the urban myth alive about if you go to Mexico docs won't touch you....so not true.

There are also a few of us living in Arizona that were banded in Mexico and who drive down for our fills to Mexicali or Tijuana. Check around; there are several recent threads on this topic. Look at the Arizona forum and the Fills forum.

You can go to Orris and De Barros in Tempe, Berger in Flagstaff but I wouldn't suggest Heber. Not great sterile technique and she does not use a Huber needle.

Or, you can go with us to Mexicali, Mexico. About 3 hours away from Goodyear, AZ. We go as a group. I know of two people that need fills and I believe they are going in a couple of weeks. PM me if you want more info. I'll put you in touch with them.
