I want to start the couch to 5K program , does anyone want to start it with me on Monday or Tuesday ? I would like to even double it up , so I can finish it in 4 weeks? But I'll see how it goes at first?

If anyone wants to start it with me please let me know

Thanks all. I sure hope that I drop lots of weight when I get off and running. I have some pain in my foot, just hope it gets easier with more weight loss.

How has everyone's weight loss gone since starting this program?

Week 6 day 2 - why does this week feel like a beating again? It just seems so much harder than last week. No yoga inbetween runs this time.

Okay, so I've been working in Dallas this week, so haven't had a lot of time for personal stuff on the computer. BUT, I did want to announce that:

I FINISHED THE COUCH TO 5K!!!

I did my last run on the program on Monday evening, and proceeded to run 30 minutes again last night! YIPPEE!!!!

Has anyone else finished? I know a bunch of us started at the same time....and I"m not trying to be catty to the people who had the flu and had to start over and all of that stuff--I'm just askin!

Hi wombat, I am not an expert, today is workout 3 of week 1!!! However, I have been reading as much as possible about running and have read that sometimes, it is just harder than others...not reason for it, we just have a hard time running. Since you are all the way to week 6, I know you arent giving it up, just wanted to say hey, crap happens!

Aren't I a little ray of sunshine?

You are way passed me in the running program, your weight loss is awesome and I guess we just have to go over some roadblocks once in a while.

Take care.

...btw...has anyone heard from TexGirly? Her surgery was two days ago, right? I bet she's probably all drugged up on pain meds now...but hopefully doing well!

STRANGER!!!!--CONGRATS...CONGRATS...CONGRATS

Week 4 day one ---is done!!! I'm going to finish this--even if it kills me and some days it feels like it will!!!!

woohooo Stranger!!!!! AWESOME!!! (I'm 3 weeks behind ya - I took a little excuse party for 3 weeks)

Paragirl - thanks  I think it's just lots of stuff together. I haven't lost a pound in forever and I'm gettin cranky about it. But who's to blame??? Me!!! I'm sitting here now next to a can of pringles - so sad

Yea BigBaby!!!! You are doing great!!!!

We have SNOW again!! Twice in one week, in TEXAS!!!! Holy Cow!!!! It's beautiful :) I think I'm going to go pelt my children with snow - hehehe

Have a beautiful day y'all!!

It snows in TX while I'm in CO... of course:) ..... Really can't wait for shorts, now that I can fit in some.

Hope all is well, Stranger - FANTASTIC, !!! I know I was an early slug going in but while on vacation I've not followed the program but was able to run 23min for 3 days before skiing. Pretty big feet for me - cause I've NEVER worked out on a vacation before. I didn't make the 3mile on that 23min - but I'M REALLY close. ... Back on the Trail Monday w/my trainer - who's been gone for a few wks...so it's but kicking time,

Lulu

Finished week 1 today! I actually jogged 2 minutes and walked 2 minutes for 25 minutes. Week one really called for 60 seconds of jogging and 1.5 min. of walking.

Yay, cant wait for week 2.

Yea LULU for working out on vacation!!!!

Paragirl - congrats on finishing week 1!!

I didn't do my day 3 of week 6 this weekend. Saturday is my jogging day but it was clean up the church day. I spent 5 hours sweeping, mopping and vacumming. I can still barely move my back is so sore :)

My next run day is Tuesday so I hope my back issues have worked out by then. I think I'm going to redo week 6 since I didn't do the last run.

Starting week 2 tomorrow, cant wait.

I have two weeks before my cruise, hope to lose about 8 pounds by then! With stict diet and running, I know I can do it. I will work out every day. Jogging every other and then either elliptical or biking in between. Also, weight training 2 - 3 times per week.

Wish me luck!

Ok - no excuses; I'm not going to redo week 6. The last run on week 6 was 25 min and all of week 7 is run 25 min so I'm just going to truck on ...

Still hoping my back is happy tomorrow. It's better today but still very sore.

Welcome back Whosya!!!!!
