Oh Synlee I'm so sorry. You'll have to go in soon as you'll be rather dehydrated by now. Plus they can run some tests, some kind of scan would be good to see if anything looks not quite right. Remind me what WLS you had? I wish I could make all this disappear for you. I'm hoping Loot chimes in, I saw them post elsewhere with similar issues, you're not alone. Big hugs to you.

Well I spent Mother's day in Local ER for iv fluids... and now today I'm back at Hospital where I had surgery. Had CT no leaks, so that's good.. but still can't keep anything down. Still waiting on rest of test. Hope all is going well for everyone. Hugs

Hi Ladies, my surgery is May 22. My first doctors visit was only 2 months ago (March 23rd). I had no idea that it would be this quick. Ish just got real…now I’m nervous as heck! I went to my pre-surgical class today. I start my 1-week liquid diet tomorrow. 🙏🏽 😊

Had my RNY Thursday. I can’t believe how pleasantly surprised I am at the lack of pain! I feel so blessed. I had Tylenol and pain meds the first two days and haven’t needed anything since. The gas is ridiculous, but moving really does help. I was terribly weak yesterday, but after starting the twice daily Protein Shakes, I feel human again. My hope and prayer for all of you is to have the same outcome!! I’m so excited for the future!!

Surgeons office called me AGAIN to change my surgery to June 7th. Not happy since I’ve been strict dieting, but at least I’ll lose more weight by surgery. Good luck to all of those getting surgery this month!!!

Why is it rough? I had mine the 11th and I’m doing great. Haven’t used pain meds. Haven’t had much pain either. I walk a lot. The only thing I can say is today it was hard to meet my Protein goal. I was not hungry really. And I burp a lot lol. But gasx helps.

I’m just alittle sore from the incisions. Also it’s really hard to consume the 60oz of liquids, Water is kind of hard to go down. I also can’t meet my Protein goal, the consistency doesn’t sit well. I burp a lot as well lol. How is your liquid diet going? I think I’m struggling more mentally than physically.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
