Thanks U 2, I was a forward & a fast short distance runner - and managed to escape the mile trecks we had to take...cause I hated running. Now I can wait each morning.

Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Here's the link that someone else found and posted on another thread, the couch to 5k put to music, with spoken instructions when to run, and when to resume walking. MP3 Podcasts

I haven't started yet, but I'm going to start either this weekend or next week. I already downloaded the podcasts so all I have to do is plug in my earbuds, and hop on my treadmill!

Anyone mind if I join this thread for the boost I'm sure I'll need???

Of course we dont mind. I ran 3 days in a row this week for 30mins each just to see how i would be. I was fine! No leg hurtys.

Now i have completed c25K and been doing 30min runs every other day for about 3 weeks now.

That's amazing whosya!!!

I was ecstatic that I was not in pain after the second jogging day of week 1. I hurt so bad after the first one. Day 3 week 1 happens tonight and I'm ready to move on! I haven't broken a sweat but it's stinkin cold outside right now :)

I have to admit I was very sore after new years eve and have been sticking to spinning as a result. I am going give it a shot tomorrow as I seemed to have healed today.

ok, so that i have to be liable to someone. i'm starting this..this week. (as soon as i get my treadmill back into the living room --had to move it for the xmas tree).

where do i get these pod casts that you speak of.
