Day of Surgery Concerns

Hi all. I have a couple questions about surgery. Are you completely naked during surgery? And also I am estimated to have my period on the exact date of my surgery which is 1/10. I was wondering how that goes. I am a shy person so I worry about these things. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you :)

I had my call with the hospital nurse yesterday and I asked about this since I'm spotting after not having a period for 6 months. She said not to worry about it, to use a pad and not a tampon, and if I was going to shave to do it a couple of days ahead since they wipe down your entire body and some people complain of itchiness after surgery since the skin is exposed.
