Question on hair loss

I wanted to ask everyone this question. When your hair loss started did it just start falling out alot all at once or did it start with some shedding that increased?

Thank you

My experience has been increased shedding is the hair loss. It’s not falling out in clumps or anything like that.

Ok, so I'm back. Need some advice. I'm wondering when I should get my hair cut, if I should wait until most of the shedding stopped or do it now? If I get it cut and its still shedding I don't want my new haircut to look bad because of that but on the other hand I'm getting annoyed with the shedding. My hair is very long (waist) and the long strands all over the place is not fun. What would you do?

Thinner hair looks fuller when it is shorter. I already have an undercut on one side, but plan to cut a full undercut when the shedding starts.

Also you can regrow more evenly if you go short.
