My surgery date is Jan 25th and Im so excited. Anyone else going to be banded in Jan? I would love to hear from you - or from anyone that has been banded and has any advise for me. tks

Lisa My surgery date is January 8. this is the first year I am not worried about keeping my weight loss resolution! I am quiet excited about everything! good luck with yours!

My surgery date is the 17th.. I'm going to Mexico and self pay.. I'll start my liquids on the 7th.. its gonna be rough, but it will be worth it in the end.. Lots of support here. Looking forward to the new year and new me !!

flip.... I see your goal you set for your weight.. Did the doctor tell you a certain weight or did you decide that? I've heard some talk about the 'average' and some told by their doctor a certain weight they will achieve. I want to be realistic here, but 175# sounds great to me.. currently 365, medium frame- I've been told, 5'9" . so I'm anxious to hear if they will tell me a weight that is reasonable. I don't want to set myself up for failure if I can't realistically get there to begin with

I am being banded on the 16th January and I am nervous and very excited at the same time. It has been hard not telling anyone other than my husband as I don't want people asking me every 5 minutes how much weight I have lost and if I can eat that on my "diet". I bet you have all been there before as well. Ithink I want to make sure it works for me before I say any thing to other people. Good luck to every one(including me).
