Premier Protein bars

Recommended Posts

Anyone know any Protein Bars similar to Premier Protein? Especially similar such as 21g Protein and 1g of sugar. They are no longer in store or online but I love to have them when I’m craving chocolate, they are so good. I still have no self control after losing 110lbs I know if I eat a candy bar one day I’ll eat them all week so I just avoid them.

Thank you so much they are so good they legit taste like chocolate candy bars and no bad aftertaste like others.

I don’t personally like these because the calories are higher and the Protein is soy based. They also use malitol which can cause bloating and digestive upset.

I’ve always stuck with Bult bars, they’re the best tasting out of anything, protein is good quality, and the cals are lower. Quest is my second go to but they don’t taste as good and have higher cals.

Higher calories is fine for me I only eat dinner I mostly drink Water and Protein all day. Quest is definitely disgusting. Thanks I will definitely try Bult.

Reason why premier taste good is because of the added sugars. Plus 12 carbs. Quest has 0 added sugars. And 9 carbs. Subtract the Fiber from the carbs to get your true carbs. And they use isolate

I’ve never bought Premier Protein with added sugar I believe their nut bars are the only ones I saw that did have added sugar. I’m fine with carbs I lift 5 times a week. I was just looking for something similar 1g sugar and 21 and 25g of Protein that don’t have that awful aftertaste Quest and pure protein has.

I’ve only found them at Trader Joe’s but the One Bar Peanut Butter pie flavor is amazing. So peanut buttery.

My family LOVES Barebells. They have great flavors, VERY good macros, and don't have a funky aftertaste. 20g of Protein, no added sure, no palm oils. They do use maltitol, but in moderation its never been problematic for us. You can buy them online by the box directly from their website, but I usually buy a few of each flavor from Trader Joes. The website has a location finder, so you can give them a test run if you aren't ready to commit to an entire box. They also have a plant-based version, but I have not tried those.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
