I hope this is not dramatic but I am sure it is LOL. I am two weeks post op and had a bite of spaghetti. It was just a bite, a size of a dime. I know it is bad. It went down fine but I am scared I have ruined everything. I just tried it to make sure it was the right temperature for my son.

I am on a two week clear liquid diet and I am really struggling. I should be getting cleared for pureed tomorrow or Thursday and it can't come soon enough.

I'm six weeks post-surgery, and based on my experience, there's no need for you to worry.

I'm quite sure you didn't ruin everything, but next time you want to check the temp of something, hold it against your wrist. That's what they do with formula for babies.

Don’t worry it’s just one bite. But try to stick to the program! I know it’s hard sometimes, but it’s important. I was lucky. For the first couple of weeks after surgery just the smell of food made me want to throw up. Every time my boyfriend would cook his dinner I’d have to close the bedroom door.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
