Mental hunger

How do you guys deal with mental hunger with having a smaller stomach?

Well, I am on the pre-op diet and the mental hunger is real. I try to stay busy doing things to keep my mind off of food. Things like cleaning, walking my dogs, reading a book, doing work from home, etc. have helped distract me from my head hunger.

My fiance and I did a movie marathon and a game night pretty much every night

I cleared a path from one end of house to the other and I would just start walking when I felt head hunger. Just back and forth from one end to the other for about five minutes was long enough to distract me and then I would go back to whatever I was doing. I also do this while I’m on the phone or if I have any anxiety and according to Apple Watch I get like 30 exercise minutes a day without really trying.

Mental hunger? I did not think it was a real thing, until now.

Means you aren't physically hungry you just think you are. Aka boredom. Loneliness. Emotional. I've had it my whole life

Yes I'm working on that and I'm post op two years
